The Castlevania Marathon was TheSpeedGamers' third Halloween marathon and the 20th marathon, and 16th for a charity. The marathons collected donations for Rocking H Ranch, an organization that supports various charities. The donation goal for the marathon was $8,000. Near the end of the marathon, the Pokémon Marathon in March of 2011 was announced.

Pumpkin Carving Contest
On October 9th, Britt announced the annual Pumpkin Carving Contest on behalf the whole community to participate in. Sending in entries will be due the day before the marathon begins; October 29th.
Despite the long wait for the announcement of the contest winners, they were announced to be: AtrumLevitas, Jdtwins2009, and MatchesForMikey. Honorable mentions were also made just after the winners were revealed, where a number of members were mentioned for their carving entries.
Costumes
During the Assassin's Creed/Prince of Persia Marathon (August 2010), donations were collected for the costumes that each commentator would wear.
